Busken Bakery Short History
Joseph C. Busken Sr. founded the legendary Cincinnati bakery in 1928, selling baked goods from the counter of a butcher shop on Erie Avenue in East Hyde Park. Busken moved the bakery to its current location in Hyde Park, near the corner of Madison and Edwards streets.
The fourth-generation bakery makes over 100 different types of freshly baked delights and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
